Growth in 2009
CYBERTECH BUSINESSES INCREASE 30 PERCENT IN 2009
DESPITE AILING GLOBAL ECONOMY
Second Consecutive Year of Double-Digit Profitability Accompanied by Increased Hiring, New Offices, to Provide Open, Flexible Compliance Recording to Global Enterprises
AMSTERDAM, January 13, 2010 - CyberTech International today announced performance results for 2009 that cap 24 consecutive months of growth levels setting new highs for the company's 25 years of operation. In 2009, customer demand and new business opportunities led to double-digit revenue increases, a 30-percent jump in employee headcount, and the opening of offices in France, Spain and Japan. More are on the horizon in 2010, complementing those opened in 2008 in the Middle East and elsewhere in Europe.
Performance highlights for 2009 included large, globally branded new customers in financial services seeking long-term value for quality and compliance recording solutions whose open architecture affords protection against costly obsolescence. The company's record-breaking growth at headquarters was mirrored by strong performance in North America, defying economic downturns that have crippled other organizations in the financial services and contact center sectors.
CyberTech executives, partners and customers, as well as independent industry watchers, attribute the company's success to technological innovation, the platform's flexibility, ease of use, and to a long-held, profitable business model. The year's successes include:
- Global expansion from seven offices in 2008 to nine in 2009. CyberTech Japan opened earlier this year to serve financial customers in Japan and Korea directly.
- Increased business and new contracts by 30 percent by late 2009, defying deep and persistent economic downturns.
- Overtaking competitors to achieve the number-two position for recording solutions in the financial market sector, claiming 50 percent of the world's top 25 banks.
- Now holding 12 global contracts for recording solutions with financial institutions.
- Recognized by independent research firms as the third largest and fastest growing provider overall for voice and data recording solutions worldwide.
- In May 2009, CyberTech North America installed the largest single-site recording system of more than 6,000 recorded channels. The New York deployment included CyberTech's recently introduced "hot stand-by" solution that provides an additional layer of redundancy for mission-critical installations.
- For America's first responders, CyberTech has successfully completed installations with leading federal law enforcement agencies. The company's solutions support 911 call centers and emergency service providers across the country, underscoring technological and service quality that helps secure public safety when an instant and accurate response saves lives.
