CyberTech has released its latest software: CyberTech Pro Release 5.
This successor to MynaVoice Release 3.3 is now available globally.
New features

Release 5 of CyberTech Pro has the following new major features:
Active IP recording for Avaya, Nortel and Mitel
Archiving to EMC Centera CAS
Last Call Replay from WebGUI
Export calls list from search results

There are also a number of other minor features and graphical improvements incorporated into this new version.

Active IP Recording
Prior to this release, the preferred method of recording VoIP telephony was by connecting to the SPAN / Monitor port on the network. This connection type was limited if the network switch did not support SPAN. In the future, if you require extra security by encrypting the VoIP audio, SPAN port recording will no longer be a valid method for recording.
When implementing Active IP recording, the recorder is interfaced with the IP telephony system via a CTI link. By communicating to the switch through the CTI application, the recording system can monitor the phones to be recorded and actively record them, configuration and activity permitting. This method allows for recording without requiring monitoring via the SPAN ports. Depending on the telephony vendor and their method for recording, the audio stream is either “duplicated and streamed” to the recorder, or connected to a separate ‘Gateway’ or “Recording Connector”. In all cases, the phones or targets are easily defined and configured in the CyberTech WebGUI. The CyberTech IP Recording Solution is the most secure and easiest to implement Active Recording solution available today.

EMC Archiving
CyberTech now also offers full integration with EMC Centera, a secure mass storage repository used by organisations such as financial institutions with externally driven regulations and internal governance requirements. The CyberTech voice recording solution can archive and retrieve calls from the EMC Centera CAS system, totally eliminating the need to manage discrete media types such as DVD, etc. The archive management process is integrated into the recording solution and fully automated with retention periods and litigation holds which are configured by the customer. This will provide increased security and protection whilst delivering personnel efficiencies, improved performance, reduced storage costs, and efficient backup and recovery.

Last Call Replay
The CyberTech “Last Call Replay Application” has also been improved. Last call replay functionality has been added to the standard Search & Replay window of the recording system WebGUI. It now offers an ‘LCR profile’ with a default (pre defined) search query and column view and automatic refresh. Once configured, the last x number of calls will always be visible on the screen for instant replay. This is standard functionality that does not require the purchase of a separate LCR application, or the installation of separate application.

Export Calls List
After a query has been made with the Search & Replay module, a list of calls that match the specified search criteria is displayed. This can now be exported to a file for use in other applications to graph and analyse the search results.
