Press Release
Dutch voice recording company CyberTech has joined forces with private equity firm Aletra Capital Partners. The arrangement does not only cover a financial injection in the company to accelerate growth, but will also facilitate CyberTech in realising its potential by offering support on a strategic and operational level. The main objective is to strengthen CyberTech’s position as a global player in the financial, public safety and call center markets. The first results of the successful collaboration will be announced shortly.
After a history of steady organic growth, CyberTech has sought outside capital to accelerate its global roll out. CyberTech CEO Otto van Linden: “The founders of CyberTech, Luc Lassche and Sil Steffens have chosen Aletra Capital Partners for its hands-on approach. They do not only invest, but also engage in the activities of CyberTech. With their broad experience in the field of strategy, finance, and operations they can add substantial value to our business. Also, Aletra’s extensive experience in the financial markets can support us in strengthening our position in that industry.”
For Aletra Capital Partners the investment in CyberTech perfectly fitted their profile of target investments. Co-founder Geert Postma: “We aim for strong players in attractive markets. CyberTech is a financially sound company that has been mainly focusing on the SME market but is now successfully moving up to the corporate market. The potential is huge and by helping CyberTech in improving and increasing its global footprint, we can create value. In CyberTech management we recognize our own drive and pragmatic attitude, and the ‘marriage’ works out wonderfully well. Communication lines are short, which leads to quick decision making and tangible results.”
Aletra Capital Partners is a private equity firm that targets its investments on medium sized European companies. Aletra invests in companies that have a strong competitive position, top-notch management, and a strong opportunity for value creation. Although management always stays in charge, Aletra engages in the activities of its investments and will support management, when required, in the key areas of strategic, operational and financial management.
